WATCH TODAY’S SERVICE

These days it is hard to find hope. To be honest, sometimes it is just easier to not risk it. In the midst of worldwide struggles and pandemics, we manage our day-to-day routines and work it out, but Easter pushes against our survival strategies. The Scriptures challenge us with the claim that the Lord of all creation was crucified but is now alive and available to all who would seek him. As such, the word hopeless is not in his dictionary even though it occupies a central place in ours. Is it possible to trust in something so wondrous when so many things are not? This sermon will look at three people at the resurrection, all of whom struggled to hope again. In them, and in the One whom they found, they remind us that hope is still here. – In Christ, Rev. Dr. Pete Moon
