WATCH TODAY’S SERVICE

Today, we continue our worship sermon series “Prepare Ye the Way” as we prepare for the upcoming youth choir musical, Godspell JR. Our focus in worship is on the Beatitudes, a collection of sayings from Jesus that begin the Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew. The Beatitudes portrayal in Godspell JR. is one of the most powerful scenes that you will witness. The Beatitudes are also some of the most familiar and powerful words of Jesus. Jesus comes to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God and the Beatitudes help us to see what the good news of the Kingdom really is. The Beatitudes tell us something about God, something about life here and now, and something about life in the future. Come and join us as we explore the teachings of Jesus and share in Holy Communion together. – Peace, Rev. Stephen Coleman
