You’re Invited to Reveille on Sunday, September 10!

Kick off our fall programs by bringing your friends and family to worship services, a Sunday school class, and enjoy complimentary waffles, doughnuts, and coffee! Then, return Sunday afternoon to take part in our programs and fun activities for children, youth, and adults.

Join us for a new four-week sermon series “Let’s Get Real!” that begins on Kickoff Sunday. Each week, our sermon and Sunday school classes will explore scripture from the Book of James through worship, class discussions, and videos filmed in Washington, DC with Lead Pastor Pete Moon. Learn more

Come to the welcome center for complimentary coffee and breakfast from the Brekkie Waffles and First Stop Donuts food trucks, 9:00-11:00 am. Grab your breakfast treats then enjoy them in one of our Sunday school classes!

Donations for Swansboro Classrooms
Bring in boxes of tissues for the classrooms at Swansboro Elementary! We will have collection shelves by the youth center entrance. You can bring these on or before September 10.

Your First Chance to Sign Up for the Habitat Build
Reveille’s home-building project with Richmond Habitat is planned to begin in October as we Build Walls to Take Down Walls! On Kickoff Sunday, we will have a representative from Richmond Habitat in the welcome center to help answer questions and register you to help with the build on specific dates! Remember, in order to sign up to help with the build, you must first register as a volunteer with Richmond Habitat here.

Our adult classes will begin the fall with the study “Let’s Get Real!” which will follow along with our weekly sermon series, September 10-October 1. To connect with an adult class, please contact Bayo Ogungbade.

The Compass (chapel 9:30 am, fellowship hall 10:30 am)
—This new Sunday school class starts September 10 at 9:30 am (chapel), 10:30 am (fellowship hall), and 4:00 pm (room 206). The class will challenge believers to actively engage, examine, and participate in three core competencies: Relationship, Study, and Discipleship. Inspired by the GPS Weekly Scripture Guide, attendees of The Compass will learn how to more intently and intentionally apply these competencies in their everyday lives and practices. Youth Classes
Youth in grades six to 12 will meet in the youth center and will also study the “Let’s Get Real!” series with weekly videos and discussions.

Child care will be available Sunday morning in room 102, ages two months to three years, 8:15 am to noon.

Room 106, 1st grade and under
This class begins after the children’s message at the 11:00 am service. Kids will enjoy a short Bible story, prayer, craft, and activity relating to the sermon as well as free play.

Children and Youth

On the afternoon of September 10, we begin ministry programs for children and youth! Kids in grade 5 and under are invited to be part of Kids Connection, our children’s choirs, and children’s ringers. Youth in grades 6-12 will have a blast in youth group, youth choir, and youth ringers! View our brochure for all the details

Adult Studies

Register now for these adult studies! Classes offer the opportunity to explore your faith while connecting with others. Child care is available for Sunday afternoon classes in room 105.

Starting September 10:

  • The Good and Beautiful You – Led by Rev. Dr. Peter Moon
    Sundays, 4:00-5:30 pm, room 207, 11-week study
    Who we become in this life matters, and in our busyness and pursuit of life, we often forget that. This fall, join us for this class based on the book by James Bryan Smith. Please purchase a copy of the book before the class begins.
  • The Compass – Led by Bayo Ogungbade and Dwight Buelow
    Sundays, 4:00-5:30 pm, room 206, # weeks TBD
    The class will challenge believers to actively engage, examine, and participate in three core competencies: Relationship, Study, and Discipleship. Inspired by the GPS Weekly Scripture Guide, attendees of The Compass will learn how to more intently and intentionally apply these competencies in their everyday lives and practices. Please register for the 4:00 pm class here. The class will also be offered Sunday mornings, no registration required, at 9:30 am (chapel) and 10:30 am (fellowship hall).

  • Women of Spirit Class – Led by Gail Bosta
    Wednesdays, 10:00-11:30 am, Zoom, 9-10 weeks
    The class will read and study the book Black and White: Disrupting Racism One Friendship at a Time by Teesha Hadra and John Hambrick. If you risk forging friendships with those who do not look like you, it will change the way you see the world, and that could change the world.
  • Inquire and Inspire Class for Young Adults – Led by Rev. Bayo Ogungbade
    Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00 pm, Youth Center, 8-week study
    Come be part of this class for young adults, ages 18-29, that explores real-world questions to help us understand and deepen our faith as Christians in the 21st century.

Starting October 1: A Disciple’s Path – Led by Rev. Stephen Coleman
Sundays, 4:00-5:30 pm, room 210, 7-week study
A Disciple’s Path by James Harnish with Justin LaRosa is a guide on how you can become an active disciple at Reveille. The class will explore ministry opportunities at our church.
