In today’s scripture, John shares this first miracle to demonstrate what Jesus has come to do. In a word, he brings life. We are the stone jars in the story. On our own, we are filled with water. We can survive and live off it, but it is not life. Instead, Jesus comes on to the scene, and transforms survival and just getting by to the wonder of real life, as life is intended to be. That life is represented by the wine: full of rich color, flavor, and in the best spiritual sense; joy. In this sermon, Lead Pastor Pete Moon will begin his relationship with Reveille and share his experiences with and appreciation of our church over the last 30 years and speak to his vision of hope in the years to come.
