MEET PETE MOON

Reveille welcomes our new Lead Pastor Pete Moon! Pete is excited about getting to know our congregation in the coming months. You can hear more from Pete on July 12 in Sunday School at 10:00 am and you can read his biography here.

TODAY’S SERMON

The familiar and foundational Parable of the Sower speaks to the power of the word of God, but even more it speaks to the importance of good soil. The soil is us, and, in the parable, the soil is the primary determining factor of the multiplication of the kingdom crops. The intensity of the parable, with its echoes of judgment and possibility, calls us to evaluate our priorities and intentionally make room in our lives for “the message of the kingdom.” God blesses a humble heart that seeks and trusts God.
