COMING UP
Swansboro and Reveille Concert, May 8
The Swansboro Elementary Chorus and Reveille’s Children’s Choirs will offer a concert in the sanctuary on Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 pm.
Music and Lunch at Fellowship Club, May 14
You are invited to our first Fellowship Club program with talented singer and guitarist Donald Coles followed by a delicious lunch on Tuesday, May 14, at 11:00 am in the fellowship hall. Learn more and RSVP to attend
Mission Benefit Concert, May 19
The Chancel Choir, local orchestral musicians, and soprano Margaret Woods will perform Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42 and other choral masterworks on Sunday, May 19, at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. The Reveille Ringers will also perform. Proceeds benefit The Pace Center at VCU.
Sign Up for Vacation Bible School, July 15-18
Children age four to rising second grade will enjoy exploring the Bible through the theme “Camp Firelight: A Summer Camp Adventure with God.” This summer’s Vacation Bible School takes place 9:00 am-noon on July 15-18. Kids will enjoy games, songs, crafts, and more each day. Register
Join the Youth Summer Mission Trip, July 7-12
This year’s summer mission trip will be filled with service projects and beach fun in Charleston, SC! The cost per youth is $200. To learn more about the trip and register, contact Caleb Eckel.
Help at the Habitat House This Spring
Volunteers are working on installing flooring, doors, and exterior finishing touches. There’s still more work to be done and volunteer slots are open through April! Learn more about Richmond Habitat opportunities and sign up to help at www.reveilleumc.org/building-walls.
Opportunities to Support Children at UMFS
United Methodist Family Services is seeking volunteers to support children in their care. Tutors are needed to help students with basic math and science skills on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Hospital Companion Volunteers are also needed to stay with children in the hospital when a parent or social worker is unavailable. To learn more about volunteering, visit www.reveilleumc.org/umfs.
Donate Items to The Pace Center
The Pace Center at VCU is requesting donations of kitchenware items, snacks and frozen meals, to-go containers, and exam goodie bags to support students. There is also a youth summer leadership camp opportunity for middle and high school youth. Learn more
WEEKLY GROUPS
Join Us for Children’s and Youth Programs, Sunday afternoons
Our music groups, Kid’s Connection, and Youth Group for children and teens meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm. To learn more about these programs, visit www.bit.ly/familyprograms-2324.
Mondays: Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Start your week off with breakfast, fellowship, prayer, and devotions. Men of all ages are invited to be part of the group which meets in the fellowship hall, 7:00-8:00 am, every Monday. For more information, contact Jim Tucker.
Join Our Walking Group Wednesdays or Thursdays
Our weekly walking group meets on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 am and Thursday afternoons at 4:30 pm in the rear parking lot to enjoy fellowship while walking through the community around Reveille. It’s a great way to start a fitness routine this spring! To join the group, contact Rev. Stephen Coleman.
Sunday School Classes
All ages are invited to explore the Bible and connect with new friends by joining a Sunday school class at 9:30 am. Check out the available classes, room locations, and descriptions here.
