General Conference Town Hall & Resources
At the UMC General Conference, legislation was considered on a wide range of denominational topics, including regionalization, human sexuality, budget, and social principles. At Reveille’s town hall, General Conference outcomes were reviewed and the Task Force for Response to General Conference was introduced. The task force shared a survey that gathered your thoughts and sentiments regarding LGBTQ+ inclusion within our church community. Those survey results are currently being compiled and they will be used to develop recommendations and actions following decisions made at the recent General Conference.
