Gather to Worship, Go to Serve
On Sunday, November 23, you are invited to gather for worship at 9:30 am in the sanctuary and then go serve with our ministry partners!
One Worship Service
We will have just one worship service for everyone to attend at 9:30 am in the sanctuary, lasting about 35 minutes. Then we will go and serve! Sunday school classes and the 8:30 and 11:00 am services will not meet.
- Rise Against Hunger – Sign up on this separate page by clicking this link and sign the online waiver: https://riseagainsthunger.org/register/?id=701Pj00000baZV4IAM. You will help pack 15,000 meals, shifts are between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm in Reveille’s fellowship hall. Ages 3 and up can participate.
- Fonticello Food Forest – Following worship, drive to Fonticello Park and help with projects at this Swansboro-area food pantry and community garden, 10:30-noon. Ages 3 and up can participate. Wear your green Reveille t-shirt and bring garden/work gloves, clippers, lobbers, scissors, trowel shovel, rake, pitchfork, and/or shovels if you have these available. 2713 Bainbridge Street, Richmond, VA 23225
- Swansboro Elementary – Following worship, drive to Swansboro Elementary and help clean up and beautify the school grounds, 10:30-noon. Ages 3 and up can participate. Wear your green Reveille t-shirt and bring garden/work gloves, clippers, lobbers, scissors, trowels, shovels, rakes, pitchforks, and/or a wheelbarrow if you have these available. 3160 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23224
- FULL – Friends of the Homeless: Lunch Bag/Sandwich Assembly – Help assemble sandwiches and lunch bags for the Friends of the Homeless, 10:30-11:30 am, in Reveille’s welcome center. Ages 3 and up can participate.
- FULL – Pace Center at VCU – Create exam goody bags for VCU students in Reveille’s youth center, 10:30-11:30 am. Ages 3 and up can participate.
United Women in Faith Bake Sale – Pick up a treat for Thanksgiving or grab a cookie to snack on during Gather and Go! Proceeds support UWF outreach ministries. The sale will be located in the welcome center and red carpet hallway. Not a UWF member? UWF is open to all women and welcomes new members. T-shirts – Wear your green Reveille t-shirt to worship and comfortable clothing and shoes to the 9:30 am service. Need a shirt? Pick one up in the welcome center on Sunday, November 16, 9:30-11:00 am or Sunday, November 23, 8:30-9:30 am. Adult and youth sizes will be available.
Donations – On Gather and Go Sunday, we are collecting non-perishable food for the Fonticello Food Forest food pantry. Please bring donations to the welcome center.
Child care will be available 9:15 am-noon on November 23 in room 102 for parents of very young children who wish to participate in Rise Against Hunger onsite at Reveille.

Reveille T-Shirts
If you do not have a green Reveille t-shirt, you can pick one up in the welcome center. Adult and youth sizes will be available. Please wear your shirt in worship and at the Gather & Go service opportunities, along with comfortable shoes.
9:15 am-noon
Child care in room 102 – Please note, all activities are appropriate for children age 3 and up.
9:30 am
Gather for Worship
One combined worship service will be held in the sanctuary at 9:30 am. The 8:30 and 11:00 am services and Sunday school will not meet on November 23.
10:15 am
Go and participate in service opportunities with our ministry partners!
Regular ministry schedule starting at 4:00 pm
Join us for regularly scheduled ministries for children, youth, and adults on Sunday afternoon starting at 4:00 pm.
