CONFIRMATION CLASS

A new Confirmation class will begin each September. If you have a student in 7th or above who would like to be part of the class, please contact Caleb Eckel.

CLASS EXPECTATIONS

Worship

• Attend worship weekly. Confirmands will sit together in worship on session weeks. Families are expected to attend worship together on other weeks.
• Serve in worship at 8:30, 9:30, or 11:00 am as an acolyte, crucifer, scripture reader, or communion server during the course of the confirmation class.
• Attend alternative worship service to experience different styles of worship.

Grow

• Please attend confirmation Sunday class sessions.
• Attendance at the opening retreat.
• Attend youth Sunday school during the confirmation class.
• Attend Sunday evening Youth Group during the confirmation class.

Serve

• Complete missional service during the course of the confirmation class.

CLERGY MEETINGS

Each confirmand will meet with a clergy member in April and May to discuss joining the church and answer any questions confirmands may have.

CONFIRMATION SUNDAY

Class participants will be confirmed during worship in late spring.
