Youth Choirs

Reveille UMC
Reveille's comprehensive music program that begins  in preschool, expands in the youth choirs to include service opportunities and concerts. These choirs are open to all youth in grades 6-12.

Youth Vocal Choir
Grades 6-12
Rehearsal: Sundays, (September-May)
High School Choir 
4:45-5:40 pm (Choir Room)
Middle School Choir 6:05-7:00 pm (Choir Room)

This choir sings for worship services once per month, as well as attending Youth Choir JAM in the fall and music week at Lake Junaluska in June. 

Youth Instrumental Ensemble
Grades 6-12
Rehearsal: Sundays, 4:00 pm, Sanctuary, (September-May)
Director: Tamara Nicely
Those who play instruments may offer their talents as they participate in worship and special programs. Membership for the Ensemble is by audition only. Instrumentation is flexible for this group.

Youth Handbell Ensemble
Grades 6-12
Rehearsal: Sundays, 4:20 pm, Sanctuary, (September-May)
Director: Tamara Nicely
This group offers music regularly in worship, as well as for special programs. Regular attendance is important and music-reading skills will be developed in the choir. Membership in the Youth Handbell Choir greatly enhances music-reading ability which is necessary for other musical groups.

Please note, per Reveille’s Child Protection Policy all adults involved with the youth ministry must have actively attended Reveille United Methodist Church for a minimum of six months and must undergo a background check.
