This community event supports the lessons in Tom Berlin’s book, Defying Gravity, part of a church-wide book study and sermon series for the 2018 Stewardship Campaign beginning in October.
 “Break free of the culture of more,” and get rid of the things weighing you down! 
Start cleaning out your closets, attic, and garage now.
Rent a space and sell your stuff!
  • Spaces are just $25 each, including 6’ table.
  • Net proceeds from space rentals benefit Reveille's Youth Missions Fund
  • Limited number of spaces available.

Once you have reserved your space, pay online, or make your check payable to “Reveille UMC” with the notation “Yard Sale Space Rental” and mail or drop off to Reveille UMC, Attn: Yard Sale, 4200 Cary Street Road, Richmond, VA 23221. Please note: Space rental is not tax deductible.
  • Fee for each space is $25. Each space rental includes one 6-foot table and a reasonable amount of space around the table. You may rent more than one space. 
  • Set up starts at 7:00 am on the day of the sale. 
  • Please offer gently-used items for sale.
  • You sell your items and keep 100% of the sales.
  • After the sale is over, you may remove your leftover items or donate them to local charities. All items must be removed by 1:00 pm.
  • Reveille UMC does not permit firearms or weapons on its property except for properly authorized law enforcement officers. Reveille UMC reserves the right to refuse to permit sales of objectionable materials at the yard sale.
  • The event rain date is Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Other ways you can contribute:
  • Make a donation in any amount on the day of the sale or make your check payable to “Reveille UMC” with the notation “Yard Sale” and mail or drop off to Reveille UMC, Attn: Yard Sale, 4200 Cary Street Road, Richmond, VA 23221. Donations are tax deductible.
  • Donate items you don’t want. Reveille’s Journey Sunday school class will sell them with proceeds benefiting Reveille’s Youth Missions Fund. Limited storage is available at the church beginning on a date TBD. To donate items, please contact Susan Creasey.
Donate furnishings and other items in the CARITAS Pod. Click here for a list of approved items.

Donate items to Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They are accepting tools, bikes, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture, home decor, and lighting in good condition.

Donate books for the Book Sale benefiting Reveille's Library Fund. Details on when to donate books will be available soon.
