Reveille UMC
A Service for Those Facing Grief and Loss During the Holidays
Sunday, December 17, 2017 | 4:00 pm | Chapel
Grief is a long and difficult road, especially during the holidays. On Sunday, December 17 at 4:00 pm we will hold a Service of Remembrance in the chapel.

This is a time when we acknowledge and face the losses and darkness in our lives. We will read scripture, sing hymns, light candles, read the names of our loved ones who have died, and pray for one another. It is a time when we seek the Light of God for hope, comfort, and help.

After the service, we will hold a reception in the welcome center as a way to continue to bond together as a community and help one another. Whatever loss you may have and however long you have borne it, we invite you to join us.

Child care will be available for ages four and younger during the service.

You also are invited to place a “Candle of Remembrance” on the bulletin board leading to the sanctuary.
