2017 Meal Packing  Update: On the Way to Madagascar

It is with great pleasure that we announce the destination of the Rise Against Hunger meals you helped package on 10/1/2017. A shipping container, holding 285,120 meals, has been sent to Madagascar for our partners Islamic Relief and ADRA International.

Islamic Relief and ADRA International are  organizations that nourish lives through food assistance and other services in Madagascar. To learn more, please visit our partner/country spotlight on the Impact Stories tab and click and drag on our World Aid Map to at https://www.riseagainsthunger.org/world-aid/.

Ending hunger is only possible if we continue to grow the movement. We encourage you to share the news about this shipment. Since 2005, volunteers like you have helped us distribute over 310 million meals worldwide. We can end hunger by 2030, but we can't do it without you.

About Rise Against Hunger
Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) is an international hunger relief organization whose mission is to end hunger in our lifetime. The organization provides food and life-saving aid to the world’s most destitute and hungry, primarily through school feeding programs and shipments to areas in crisis situations.

Rise Against Hunger meals are highly nutritious, dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, flavorings, and 21 essential vitamins and minerals. The meals are easy to transport, store, and distribute to those in greatest need. Each meal package provides food for six people.

Meals are packaged by volunteers through a fun and engaging assembly line process.  Reveille UMC partners with Rise Against Hunger to package over 25,000 meals each fall.
