Past Mission Trips

Youth Mission Trip and Choir Tour
Every other summer, Reveille’s youth ministry combines with the youth choir to organize an out-of-state trip to provide help in needy areas in the United States. Previous trips have taken the group to Oklahoma, New Orleans, New York City, and Tampa.  All youth are welcome. In addition, a dozen or more adult volunteers are needed to work alongside our youth.
Summer 2016
New Orleans, Louisiana | July 9-17 | All Youth (Grades 6-12)
The combined youth mission and choir tour went to New Orleans to work with the Epworth Project, which is based in Slidell, Louisiana. Through the Epworth Project youth and adults worked to rebuild homes and communities, including home repairs and maintenanceand assisting local non-profits with clothing and food distributions. In addition to these projects the youth choir was also in mission through music. Photos
International Mission Trip for High School Youth
Every other year, high school youth participate in an international mission  trip. In prior years, they have traveled to El Salvador to build homes through Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village initiative.
Summer 2016
Costa Rica: July 30- August 7 | Classes of 2016 and 2017
The international mission went to Central Valley, Costa Rica, to work with Strong Missions, which is affiliated with the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission program.
