FRIENDS OF THE HOMELESS

HELPING RICHMONDERS IN NEED

Richmond Friends of the Homeless is a private, nonprofit association devoted to making a difference in the lives of the less advantaged. More than 1,500 meals are served each week at two locations, south of Richmond and downtown. Reveille volunteers prepare and provide meals for 160 people twice each month.

FOURTH THURSDAYS | HOT MIDDAY MEAL

On the fourth Thursday of each month, Reveille assembles meals for 180 people to take to Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church on North First Street.
Sign up to help with the January 25 meal.

Individuals or groups may assist by:

  • Preparing hashbrown casseroles
  • Assembling and organizing meal delivery
  • Picking up chicken

  • Giving financial support
