Becoming a Member

Reveille UMC

All adults who are discerning membership are asked to attend Reveille Today, a class designed by members to help visitors learn more about our church.

Reveille Today consists of three sessions over three weeks. These sessions focus on getting to know The United Methodist Church and the congregation at Reveille so you can understand its ministries and the opportunities offered for worship, spiritual growth, and service. The class also will help you discern your individual spiritual gifts so you can begin thinking about how you can best serve God and humanity in the church and in the world. If, after completing Reveille Today, you feel that God is calling you to join more fully into the life of the church at Reveille, you will have the opportunity to join the congregation on New Member Sunday.

Reveille Today is offered three times a year on Sunday evenings 4:30-6:30 pm in the Reveille House parlor.

In The United Methodist Church, baptism is considered a holy sacrament. We believe baptism is the movement of God in a child's life and a public profession of the child's parents or caretakers to raise the child in a Christian home. Our church family also makes a public promise to help raise the child in the ways of God through faith, devotion and love. More information

Each year, Reveille offers a confirmation class for youth in eighth grade and above who have not yet been confirmed. More information is available on our youth ministries page.
