In addition to Sunday School and weekly Bible studies, Reveille offers several other spiritual formation opportunities centered on spiritual disciplines.
Covenant Discipleship Groups
These small groups are modeled on the accountablity grops started by John Wesley, the founder of Methodist. Covenant discipleship groups seek to grow in Christian character and discuss ways in which each member is striving to live out the spiritual covenants established by the group. The groups meet regularly for prayer, study and accountability to spiritual disciplines.
Prayer Partners Ministry
Monday through Friday, prayer partners come to the chapel for an hour to pray for those with special prayer needs and for the work of Reveille Church. Prayer partners work in pairs and commit to praying in the chapel at least once per month. This is also a time for individual prayer, scripture reading and use of the prayer resources placed in the chapel for this ministry. Prayer partners meet from 12:30-1:30 pm. Prayer requests are submitted weekly, through boxes in the chapel and the narthex or online at our website. This ministry provides an opportunity for growth and transformation in the spiritual discipline of prayer.
PrayerNotes
Like CareNotes, these brochures provide guidance in growing faith through prayer. They are available in the hall between the education building and the narthex. Topics include Praying When You Are Depressed, Going on a Lenten Prayer Journey, A Spiritual Survival Guide to the Holidays, Praying with Someone Sick or Confined, and many others.
