Teaching children about the Christian story and how to live as Christians is one of the most important things a church can do.  At Reveille, this ministry happens in a number of different ways.

 

Reveille offers Sunday school classes for children of all ages, from preschool through fifth grade.  The Sunday school hour is from 9:30-10:30 am.  For more information and details, please see the Children's Sunday School page under Teaching & Learning.

 

Child care by paid staff is provided for infants and toddlers during Sunday school and Sunday morning worship services.  Parent volunteers assist during Sunday school and 11:00 am worship.

 

Extended Session Sunday School offers child care for toddlers through kindergarteners during the 11:00 am worship service.  Children from three years old through kindergarten attend the worship service as a group each Sunday.  They remain through the message for children before returning to the classrooms.  Parent volunteers staff the extended session on a rotating basis.  Two adults are required in each classroom.

 

During the fall months, children in first grade participate in Children in Worship classes from 9:30 am-12:00 noon (during Sunday school and 11:00 worship).  Classes are held from Labor Day through Thanksgiving.  For more information, please see the Children in Worship page under Teaching & Learning.
